Human voice is the ultimate instrument, and these lessons will teach you techniques for all styles of singing, vocal techniques, and music genre to sing and perform songs from Classical Music, Bollywood, Folk Songs in any language and format.
Following the pattern of a traditional Indian Classical Music concert, vocal performances are part improvisation and partly based on compositions. There are major forms of Hindustani classical music followed by vocalists, including Khayal, Dhrupad, and also “semi-classical” and folk traditions too.
Prasad Chavan has completed Sangeet Prabhakar in Indian Classical Music from Ajivasan Music Academy (Pt. Suresh Wadkar Music Academy). He has been learning from various teachers such as Mrs. Sampada Swapnil Bandodkar and his father Shahir Shantaram Chavan, along with legends such as Pt. Suresh Wadkar and Padma Wadkar. He is a certified teacher from Ajivasan Music Academy & has worked as a music teacher for 5 years, two of which have been spent at Ajivasan Music Academy.
He has worked on many music albums one of which was for the background score of Bajirao Mastani. He has been performing on stage since the last 15 years, performing shows all over India, and has been working with Ekam Satt Initiative since many years.
Keshab Baruah is a Visharad in Indian Classical Music in the guidance of Nand Banerjee (Guwahati). He has received a special Vocal training by Dr. Basant Kr. Saikia (Lucknow), Padma Wadkar (Mumbai), Pt. Suresh Wadkar (Mumbai), Sampada Bandodkar (Mumbai), & Dharmanshu Raval (Mumbai). With over 15 years of being as a vocal trainer, he has experience teaching Indian Classical Music, Sufi Music, Ghazals, Bhajans, Assamese Songs, Bollywood Songs, and much more.
He has performed live for more than 2000 shows in India and abroad.
Neha Ramesh Rane has completed Sangeet Visharad in Indian Classical Music – Vocals.
In her 12 years of learning music, she has done recordings for various Hindi and Marathi serials, Dramas and Movies such as Sur Nava Dhyas Nava (Colours Marathi), Siya Ke Ram (Star Plus), Thackeray, Alishan (Upcoming Marathi Play), Chandrakanta (Star Plus) & many more
Beginner
Have not learnt Singing before or have learnt for a very short duration.
Intermediate
- Can sing all 12 notes properly.
- Can identify all Swaras by listening.
- Can sing in proper Rhythm and identify different Taal.
- Can sing at least 2 ragas and improvise a bit.
Advance
- Have fulfill all requirement of intermediate level.
- Have knowledge of all Thaat.
- Can sing and improvise at least 8 ragas.
- Can improvise in Du-gunn, Ti-gunn and Cho-gunn.
