Registration Guidelines

When you first arrive on the home page, create an account by clicking on the “My Account” section on the top right. Here you can register for a new account or log in to an existing one. All participants of Ekam Satt World Music League can use their previous accounts to log in. Once you log in, you can visit the home page to register for any course you want.

In order to register for any course at Ekam Satt Academy of Performing Arts, the student needs to follow these guidelines:

  1. For all courses except for “Learn a Song”, you need to select whether you wish to enrol for a 4 session batch or a 12 session batch.
  2. Once you decide that and enter the course’s page, you will be able to read about the course, the instructor(s), as well as determine your proficiency in the course.
  3. You can then select the following details for the course:
    1. Instructor: If multiple instructors teach the course you wish to learn, you will be able to select the one you want.
    2. Level: This is your Proficiency Level for the given course, determined in step 2.
    3. Day: Depending on the instructor & level you choose, you will get an array of days to choose from. All of your sessions will be held on this day on consecutive weeks.
    4. Time: Depending on all your prior choices, you will get an array of time slots to choose from. The slot you choose will be the time of all your sessions.
  4. If the day & time slot of your choice is available, you can proceed to the payment gateway & make your payment.
  5. Once your payment is complete, you will receive a mail confirming your purchase, and will also be able to see your purchase history in your dashboard. All you need to do is click on the “My Account” tab and scroll down to “Purchase History”.
  6. Students will have a waiting period of a maximum of 10 days between the date of registration and the date of beginning of the course. In case you do not get a mail with all relevant details for your course within 10 days of registration, please connect with us immediately.

General Guidelines

  1. A student will be provided with a link to his/her online class at least 30 minutes before the lecture begins. All students are expected to log in on the scheduled time. 
  2. In case of a delay, you are expected to inform the instructor in writing citing the reason for delay. 
  3. The instructors will have sole discretion on whether or not to allow late entrants.
  4. Students will not be reimbursed/allowed to attend a make-up session for any session they missed due to late entry.
  5. If any student logs in late for more than 2 sessions without providing any e-mail notification to the Academy, the student will be expelled from the Academy.
  6. If any student conducts himself/herself improperly, or creates unnecessary nuisance in any session, causing disturbance to the other students and/or the instructor, the student will be expelled from the Academy.
  7. All students who successfully complete a course will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion for the same.

Attendance

  1. A student is expected to attend all sessions.  
  2. If the student misses one class, a make-up session in another batch will be provided at a mutually convenient time. This opportunity will be afforded only once and no student will be allowed to sit for more than one make-up session.
  3. If a student is absent for more than 2 sessions without providing any e-mail notification to the Academy, the student will be expelled from the Academy. 
  4. A student may be allowed to transfer to another batch for the course he/she has enrolled in depending on his/her case. If such a transfer is made, the student will be allowed to sit for only the number of classes which were pending in the previous batch.

Timings

  1. All timings are mentioned in Indian Standard Time (IST). Any students from outside India are advised to take this into consideration while selecting slots. Time slots, once selected, will not be changed, except for extreme circumstances. The Academy reserves the sole right to make any decisions regarding this
  2. The course will be scheduled based on student selection the teacher availability. Students are requested to select time slots taking into account the duration of the course. Even if a change in the time slot is allowed under extreme circumstances, the Academy will not be able to guarantee the same teacher.

System & Technological Requirements

  1. All students are required to attend each session using a laptop only.
  2. The laptop should have a functioning front camera, audio input as well as output, along with all necessary requirements to participate in a video conference.
  3. During every session, the video of the student should be on at all times. If the student switches his/her video off for more than 5 minutes without giving any reason, the instructor has the right to remove the student from the session.
  4. It is advisable to have a strong internet connection at the place where you attend the session to avoid missing important details due to lags.
  5. The Academy will not be responsible for any technical error occurring on the students’ end. The student is solely responsible to ensure proper technological & network requirements are met.
  6. No student is allowed to record any session using any inbuilt/external equipment under any circumstance. If such a recording is discovered, the student will be expelled from the Academy.

Refund Policy

  1. Once the student has enrolled in a course, the course cannot be transferred to any other individual. In case the student needs to opt for a refund, a request must be made in writing to info@ekamsatt.com and will be granted at the sole discretion of the Academy.
  2. No refund will be given to any student who has been expelled from the Academy for any reason.
  3. In addition to the above, all refunds are subject to a processing fee which would be the equivalent of 5% of the course fee.

Discount Codes, Promotions and Offers

  1. Discount codes cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount code.
  2. Ekam Satt Academy of Performing Arts reserves the sole right to refuse or alter any coupon, promotion, or discount at its discretion.
  3. All discounts, promotions, and coupons will be verified manually. All purchases will be canceled without any refund if failed to verify within 2 weeks.
  4. Any offer, promotion, or discount code is non-transferable and can be availed only by the person/people for whom it was generated.
  5. All decisions are at the sole discretion of AD Ventures.
